Okay folks, I have been a bit outspoken about how I feel about America. I have ranted about Obama and our continuing do-nothing Congress. I worry about the America we are leaving to our children and grandchildren. I think the big news media machine is the greatest threat to our continued existence as a country. Not our idiot president. Not the leeches sitting in Congress. Not the liberal/Democrat/socialists. The BNM Machine helps to create ignorant voters and they should be held responsible.
We have little access to real, un-biased information that can be trusted. Who doesn't have an agenda these days? Conservative, liberal, progressive, socialist... they are all just labels we assign to people. In the end, a politician (that being someone in politics for a living not because something needed to be done) is a liar. It doesn't matter which side of the aisle they are on. It doesn't matter what color their skin is. It doesn't even matter what religion they claim to follow. What matters, is what they actually do.


I wish every news anchor would be this direct. Newsroom Opening Scene

Opening Salvo

Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to the United States of the Offended. It seems, more and more, that Americans have this insatiable almost pathological need to be pissed off about something. Now, don't get me wrong,there are some things we should be pissed off about: an increasingly intrusive and overreaching government, unchecked immigration, known terror cells operating on American soil unchecked, and the media.
"Wait," you say. "What has the media got to do with all this?"
The American news machine learned that sensationalism sells. So what do they do? They push a racist agenda that tells Americans that white people want to kill black people. More specifically, they push that it is white cops and Conservatives that want to kill black. We see story after story of how a white cop has killed a black citizen. How often do we see stories that are the flip side of this? They never happen? That is what the news machine wants you to believe. And a black cop would ever kill a black citizen would they? Wow. When those few stories like this do hit the news they are reported and brushed away and we never hear about them again. The "news" channels (Fox included) want you to keep watching, so they show you stories that offend you. If they don't offend you, they are banal or un-newsworthy and exist solely to distract you.

Wake up! Look around at what is happening to our country. Which celeb is dating that celeb and who is having a sex change or who suddenly released a sex tape isn't news. US military performing training exercises at recently shuttered Walmart stores is news. 6 cities being part of ObamaLaw is news. Freed prisoners committing new crimes is news (especially when they were let free by the POTUS). Now, which of the stories in this paragraph will get the most airtime on the news channels?
